  • Transfer from airport, bus or train station to hotel in the city of Puno.

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • 7:40 a.m. Transfer hotel – port to visit one of the Floating Islands of Uros (5 km west of the Port of Puno, 20 minutes by boat), unique in the world, made with a base of Totora (a herbaceous water plant), and inhabited by Uros families – Aymaras who build and cover their homes with Totora mats. The Uros are known as the “People of the Lake” and their origins date back to before the time of the Incas. The community continues ancient practices such as traditional fishing and wild bird hunting. The Uros men are skilled at navigating Totora rafts and the women are experts at knitting and weaving.
  • From there we continue our journey to the Llachón Peninsula (74 Km northeast of Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca, 2 hours by boat).
    This community maintains it's indigenous customs and cultural traditions.
  • Llachón is a rural community located on the tip of the Capachica Peninsula, on the shores of Lake Titicaca, near the Islands of Taquile, Amantani, Uros, and Suasi, as well as the Chucuito Peninsula. Today, Llachón is a village whose living is based around agriculture, livestock, fishing, handicrafts and experiential tourism. The inhabitants keep their culture and ancient traditions alive through their continued practice of traditional dress, customs, artistic expressions and Andean values.
  • Lodging in local homes with full room and board.


  • We will observe and have the opportunity to participate in the activities and customs of the local people, such as agriculture and fishing. Later, we walk around the Llachón Peninsula, enjoying the incredible beaches of Lake Titicaca, main squares, rituals and some Pre-Hispanic ruins.


  • In the morning we return to the city of Puno by boat.
  • Accomodation in hotel.
  • 2 p.m. visit to the Sillustani Archeological Site, located on the shores of the Umayo Lagoon. The site is famous for its Chullpas, which are large, circular stone towers built to house the remains of the most important leaders of the ancient Incas.
  • Return to hotel in Puno arriving at approximately 5:15 p.m.


  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Transfer to airport, train or bus station from hotel in Puno.
